I'm halfway through building Dragon's ISU-122 and getting to the point of thinking about paint / markings... I really like the idea of the white stripes which were used at the end of the war, like this:
However while I see lots of models built with these markings and a few illustrations, any actual photos elude me.... can anyone help?

I can't see theimage you posted, so here is a shot in the dark.
I know often times the ISU-152 and the ISU-122 get mis-identified and mixed up as being the other. I've seen many images of the ISU-152 with the white stripes and don't recall seeing any photos of the ISU-122 with them.

The White Stripes were for for the final Berlin operation and yes they were on ISU-122, ISU-152, ISU-122S(which there were ALOT of) Lend Lease Shermans, T-34 skis, etc.... they didn't seem to be on SU-76s though. The reason they were marked this way was for to lessen the chance of air attack by Allied pilots. They were some reports of the Germans using this scheme to confuse Allied pilots, but I have never seen photos - I always thought it would be interesting to see a Panther or Stug painted up this way.....

It would be fantastic if someone could dig up a photo of an ISU 122 marked up that way. I looked though all my references and couldn't find any evidence. (Which by the way is not to say that there weren't any with the white stripes, we just haven't found any photographic evidence yet.)
