Hello all Leo fans,
I started next Leo. Now Leopard 2A4 Baulos 8 from Hobby Boss kit with my new conversion set.
Big problem is rear parts which is very bow. I add to interior plastic for unbend.
This is problem at all Leopard (Tamiya also)

Hi Milo,
Another great job in the making I see! Let me know when this is available to the general public, I am going to build a batch 8 vehicule.
Just a quick question, will this upgrade fit the Revell Leo 2A4 or just the Hobbyboss offering?
Thanks
Chris

Great Milo, I'll still get that set and the worst that can happen is that I'll have to get a HobbyBoss kit! :-)
Cheers and keep up the great work!

Hi Miroslav,
Have been toying around one of these myself for but FYI, amongst some changes already integrated at the end of the 5th batch (2nd + 3rd return roller position) late production tanks already received turrets with deleted(not welded) munition hatch. Around this time I believe they already started to weld and stopped using bolts on the front deck munition bunker, for sure from 6th batch on. So do not forget to change that on your model.
I always wondered why the Germans initially didn't strictly use 6th - 8th batch tanks turrets but only the hulls for the 2A5 upgrade?
Introduction of the new heavy front side skirts from 6 batch onwards, the swiss army have some of these as well (next Project?)
U could actually use the complete side skirts from the 2A5 / A6 model and just bend new, more narrow (in height) steps.
I like the colour of your gun.
Looking forward to your progress, probably the best way to make a decent 2A4 out of the HB model.
Cheers
Christopher

I am about to order those sets from you Miloslav. Does the leopard 2A4 include the metal barrel? If not is there a way I can get one with it? Also, is it possible you could mould me some the suspension arm guides in resin. I don't have any but it would help tons!

Nice work Milo too bad I have so many of the PSM kits I'll get one of yours when CF decides what to do with our 2A4s here in Canada.
You did the right thing by doing a new mantel I would have giving an option of having the plugs in or out.

Nice start and fantastic work. I have been commander on the Leopard 2A4 some years ago and will follow your WIP. The Hobby Boss kit is waiting in my board. Hope to see more soon...

The Revell kit is a different width then the HB And it has more detail issues then the HB kit.

Hallo, Milo,
exciting what you prepared meantime! I'll certainly have one set.
Facing the problems mentioned here, did you try the Bronco tracks with your drive sprocket?
