How bout' an invite-to-chat feature

I find myself wanting to get the attention of one or some of the online users here and am always searching for a way to get there attention. I have no idea what that might entail, but heck you know everything...

Why don't you PM a person that is online and invite them that way. The old Homer Simpson voice is enough of an attention getter.

I agree with ya Hunter. I think it would be a little easier to find someone to talk to.

Hmmm, maybe it's just my PC and or dial-up service, but the only time I hear Homer is when I just log in with a PM. If I'm already on site and I receive a PM, no sound, no Homer.

That happens to me sometimes at work.

Ken,
Hmm...well of course it should only trigger the sound when you change to a new page on the site. Not quite as advanced as AOL or an application like Intant Messenger.

Oh Great!! Now I have a mental image of Yoda's avatar in a MIB outfit......great.

BTW, I've never heard the 'Homer Simpson' voice. I have my computer's sound muted. I guess I'll have to turn it up.

Same here... I usually sneek in the Armorama when I'm at work and loud Homer would blow my cover... So, no Homer for me.
