Hi all,
I was wondering how realistic would it be to do a scene on the black river in Saigon (see the top picture on http://www.raphaelk.co.uk/web%20pics/Vietnam/Vietnam.htm). I mean: I would like to do this scene with some kind of boat in it (a LSSC or zodiac or...) but I'm not sure if there was any combat-action on this river (maybe during TET?)
Hope someone can help
TIA

Great link. I'm not sure how accurate it would be, but you did find a great reference link. Can you immagine trying to do one of those temples with those dragon carvings on each post? #:-)

Try looking up battle of Saigon and see what pics you come up with. Or try something else with Saigon in it because you never know what you get.
All of these are from Tet-1968.
Here is a pic I found from a pilot in the 191st Assault Helicopter Company of the Black River.
These are from a 9th Division troop.
If you want to have troops more than likely you will need South Vietnamese soldier because they did most of the city fighting in Saigon during Tet. DML/Dragon makes a perfect set for that.

I will give it to you, thats a great idea. Go with the DML set and get a boat and your set. Of course a couple of buildings wouldn't hurt!
