Dear Thomas,
let me be the first one to congratulate! It is simply amazing. The whole vignette looks great!
Eventhough I just spent 6 months building my Humvee your job really makes me to start another.
Regards
Jiri

I am not a very big fan of humvees, but that looks cool. I specially like the sage of the wheels and how they "blend" with the base.
Super cool.
Super cool.

Pictures always make Humvee models look so big. In fact, they're a pretty small model. Good job, Thomas, you make it look big! Good details. Awesome desert floor.
Hells yeah!

Thomas,
Sorry I didn’t see the original posting for this. However, now that I have I want to say what an excellent build this is, the weathering on the GMV is phenomenal. Your attention to all the small details on this vehicle make for an outstanding vignette. I am completely impressed every time I see another of your builds. Keep up the excellent work.
best,
Scott

Thomas this is one hell of a good build! The paint job the storage and the ground work, man your modelling skills are amazing. But first 2 questions if i may
1-whered did you get your stowage from?
2- how did you creat the groundwork, looks awfully real!

How did you prevent the groundwork and plaster or glue from spilling over the edge of the base lip?

Thanks for your nice comments.
@calvin:The groundwork is made from a product that is called in german "Holzspachtel".
It is a sandy paste for filling holes in wood. I would translate "Holzspachtel" in wood putty.
I hope you understand what I mean, my german is much better than my english
The stowage is Hobby Fan, HF048
@Peter: I have masked the edges of the base with tape, the wood putty is not very thin, so it won't run over the edges...

Hi Thomas
Very well done! I think you achieved the perfect balance with the weathering and stowage.
I have a few of these Hummvee's in my stash so [if you don't mind] I'm taking some notes for reference.
Regards,
Kobus
