Hello:

I'm building a Dragon's Sherman II DV. I'm planning to show the vision slits opened, but I have no idea what the uncovered vision ports looks.

There was a solid glass or no?

I hope that someone can give me some advise about that.

Best regards.

Well, yes, they had bulletproof glass in them, so looking thorough that glass from inside to out you may have percieved a slight green/blue effect, but, from the outside, with the hatches down all you would see was black because no light was coming out from the inside.

I always paint clear glass vision blocks with black first, then a coat of clear green, and finally a coat of clear gloss over top. If you ask me, it comes out looking pretty good.
