Hi,
This is Sealhead asking for help. I need to source lanterns, like you find in an old barn, in 1/35th scale for a diorama I've been working on and off for 15 years and intend to finish by next May. Any ideas?
This site has helped me more than any other source I've tried. Thanks.

Sealhead

If I need a quote, its "thank you Armorama."

Wow, 15 years working in a dio, please show us some pics, doesnīt matter if itīs not finished yet.

I think Verlinden may have included lanters in one of their food sets. Can't tell on-line I'll have to look at my stash.
If not the NEW German field kitchen comes with some I think, the old one may have a few too...

I've got the Verlinden catalog on my desk. I'll thumb through it and see if there are any lanterns.

I'll check Porkchops suggestion about the field kitchen first.
Shoot. Took it home, I'll check tonight when I get out of work.

You know - if you wanted to model a cylindrical style (no bulge) or even a conical one you could scratch build one with some foil from a wine bottle.

If you are going for this kind

Just some thoughts - hope it helps

The new Tamiya Feldkuche has one lamp as does the Tamiya Churchill MkVII - the one with the friendly French farmer handing over the wine.

Hi Seahead,

Didn't see anything in the Verlinden catalog, but it looks likeBilko has you covered from Tamiya. Good luck with your project.

Cheers,
Jason
