I have been googleing and cannot find any line drawings or diagrams for a 1940 Ford or GMC truck chassis. Does anyone have any information that they could share? I am gathering as much information as possible to scratch a 1942 ACV-IP (Indian Pattern) Mk.I.

Thanks in advance.

Although I can't help you with your project, I'm definitely interested in seeing your progress on the build. The IP always catches my eye in photos so I'd be excited to see a built model of that vehicle. Quite honestly, I've never seen one at a model show or even online...

Good luck!

Hello Pat:
I am just trying to gather information on the Indian Pattern APC for now, school starts for me on Feb. 22, 2010 (funnnn). The progress will be slow on the build and the work on the James Cunningham M1 / T4 will slow down at that time. I will try to complete as much as possible and post the photo's before school starts. I have been encountering some problems as to how to construct the chassis on the M1/T4 until Cuhail gave me a site over on the Auto page regarding leaf springs.

Robert,
Although I'm not up to speed on that AC, I would assume that it has a standard CMP chassis ?, please correct me if I'm wrong - IF it does have a CMP chassis then I have a number of chassis drawings, diagrams that maybe of use.

Robert,
Just had a quick delve into the vehicle in question and checked my HMVD book and it confirmed my thought that it's a CMP chassis.
I assume you have checked these sites for details:
http://www.imagecontrol.com.au/oldcmp/indexes.html
http://www.mapleleafup.org/vehicles/softskin/specs.html
Anyways PM me your email address and I'll flick you the drawings/diagrams I have, that may be of use.

"Robert".

I definitely look forward to seeing your model. Definitely post it here on the forum.

BTW and FYI, you got some crazy "bridal dress" links appearing with your messages. I cleaned up your posts for you, but you might want to check into that. Also, each one of your posts has been signed with a different name... Robert, Tony, etc... What's with that?
