Many thanks for the review.
I have tried 2 times to built my own (over $200 of material), but this is a must!!!
I've just order mine. Even with the shipping (USA to CANADA) at $40 it still is affordable.
Thanks again.

You're welcome Paul, after having mine a while I love it and I'd never use anything else. It's a great booth and a great value, and you can stick it in a drawer when you're not using it!
Best,
Matt

Just receive the Spray Booth... Perfect!
On a sade side, I found out a store in Montreal who is carrying the spray booth.
www.udisco.com. Price tag $160.00CAN.
I would have save $20CAN. No big deals, but for other montrealers, it's a good thing to know that this small and effective portable spray booth is available.

I am about to order one of these compact spray booths from Model Expo. I found an item in Lowes stores called a 4" diameter Dryer Draft Blocker ($3.97) which seems ideal for connecting a 4" dryer exhaust to the back of this booth. It is a 5" x 5" square flat plastic piece with 4" flanges on both sides, adjustable screw slots, and a plastic flapper in the middle. If you cut off one of the flanges with a razor saw and remove the flapper, it looks like it will fit perfectly. You could also use a second piece to attach the hose to a board placed in your window to exhaust the fumes. Home Depot has a similar item for $2 more.

Of note, apparently Model Expo has also decided that it is worth more. It's now listed at $199.99, but with 0 in stock and an expected arrival date of about a week ago.
If you search for the model number though, you can find it elsewhere online for cheaper.

In the US, MegaHobby has it for $150:
http://www.megahobby.com/portablecompactsprayboothwithturntableandfan.aspx Starship Modeler has
an article on building a spray booth out of a large plastic tub. the article also shows how to make an indoor filter out of a 5 gal. can.
The portable spray booth (possibly with a stronger fan) could be attached to the indoor filter for those who lack easy access to a window in their spray area.

I can only confirm the excellent review that Tom carried out, as I have been using one of these for some months now and find it to be excellent value and effective to use. Best of all the spare filter pads are really reasonably priced at £5 in the UK.

I too bought one several months ago, and I can't think how I sprayed without it - you won't regret buying one at all.
(Now I just need more time to use it...)

Looks like price went up to 199 and they are not showing them in stock at the model expo site. The size appears to have changed as well.

Yep, the price went up to $199, but it's still the same size. The same booth is on sale for $150 at

I found
this booth on Amazon. It appears to be the same booth reviewed here, except with an added air hose and all for $80. The pictures are practically identical to those in the review here...anyone know what the deal is? I'd really like to be able to spray year-round (Cleveland winters are not ideal for spraying in the garage...)

Certainly looks the same except the hose. I have the standard one and I'm quite happy with it.

Robby, I had a look at the booth you linked to offered on Amazon. It IS the exact same booth I bought, right down to the stickers that come on the front. I also checked the Model Expo site - they still price this booth at $199.99, it's still out of stock, and they now carry the exact same exhaust hose as a separate item for $32.99.
So, since Best Choice Products is selling both together on Amazon for $79.99, I STRONGLY advise you and all others who read this to JUMP ON THIS DEAL RIGHT NOW.
In fact, I'm going to put up a separate post on this and I might buy another one myself. Great find Robby, thank you!

I know this review is an old one, however, I just purchased this exact product from Amazon.com for $80 with the ducting and exhaust attachment that fits in window.
Model Expo and Pasche puts their name on it and the price goes up $40 and you do not get the attachments. On the same Amazon site you can see the same pic for the Pasche model. Search under portable spray booth.
Just sayin
