Hi guys im currently work on a dio of tamiyas M41A walker bulldog its pretty much done but i want to scratch build some ammo crates for it .. does anyone know any good ways to make them ? iv searched the net but just cant find anything any ideas would be great thanks

PS i know i can buy them but wheres the fun in that ;0)

You can obviously use wood, but it has to be good quality, not balsa. I prefer to use styrene. You can rub coarse sand paper on it and make a quite convincing grain effect on it by wiggling it slightly as you scrape it. The black box on the right is styrene.
