Interesting vehicle and good luck with your project!

I also try some scratchbuilding, but the parts are for converting a model into another version.

greetings...

Hi Gabor, the scratch-built parts are for soviet Venus-landers (I´m a big (russian) Proton-rocket fan!), which I try to convert into another version of the lander.
Originally I planned to build 3 models, but at the moment I only have to much work with 2 ones.
There are some changes for each version of the planetary landers, which landed on a planet with a hellish temperature, pressure and atmosphere.

The base-model was a scratch-built model, made by a friend. I asked him for resin copies of his model.
So I try to build all needed parts for one of the other versions.
The problem is that there only few photos are avialable.

greetings and thanks...
Soeren

Interesting views of the CAD-parts! Which software do you use?
I use an older version of LightWave3D, which is not a "real" CAD-program, but it also can be used for this work.
If I have enough money....
1. a "head" for one of my "headless" rocket-models (Proton)
2. some russian/ soviet satellite model kits in 1/48 scale (NPO Lavochkin and NPO PM)

I look forward to see the next steps!

greetings and a happy new year too! (a little bit late now)
Soeren

edit:
I´ve seen the file-format "ipt" (shown in the lower image) seems to be "Inventor by Autodesk, Inc."

Gabor,
this is looking really great! I hope you'll consider moving up to 1:35 scale with your interesting subjects.
