Here some pics from my D9 WIP.

All the rear pipes are done; The left brace is near the end.

Thanks too Rob for his pictures that help me very well for the hydraulics lines.

Very nice! Can we see a close up of your left brace when you finish it? It looks good from what I can see.

Hay it look's like you scratch-built this big baby. I would love to have seen you scratch work. If it's ok with you can you tell how tall it stands? I'd Love to scratch-build one my self. I'm getting a lot better at scratch-building these days. An if its a kit please point me in the right direction. "PLEASE MAN PLEASE"!!!

The Dozer build is just too cool, I have a young friend who was an operator on one of these, I am going to save these WIP picts to show him.

By the way [pascalbausset] had you thought of adding the roof turret for a medium sized belt fed machine gun. An yes there's a roof turret. Now on the interior of the D9's cab there's an elevated gunner chair next to the drivers chair-(operator's chair).

Very cool, we have just had one of these start at work ripping rock (without the armour obviously!)
They are serious peices of kit, and you've certainly done it justice.

Well done!

Hi Captin_Caveman_III
Thanks for that,
Unfortunately we lost him last year so it's now up to others to keep his work and inspiration going.

You can see all his scratch builds here;

Roof turret?? Are you sure you don't mean roof cupola? Can you show us some pictures please? The IDF has armored D9's with roof top cupola with MG's, but not the US forces, (that I've seen) which is what Pascal is modeling.

IDF 's D9 have machine gun. but I never seen armement on D9 in US Army service.

When you have pics they are welcome.

For my model I dont need roof's armement as my reference pics dont have any MGs.
The D9 will be on a M1000 SEI semi trailer with a M1090 Oshkosh truck tractor (HETS)

Thanks Rob, I have a question.

Did you know if there are hydraulic lines for the right hand dozerblade jack ? I cannot find any informations about this ? If yes did you have a pic ?

The truck tractor is coming very soon with a CPK armoured cab
TIA

Pascal, yes, there are two. I thought they were in the photos I posted. They are wrapped in a spring, and originate in the bottom front left of the engine compartment, and run across to the right and attach to the cylinder. If you don't find them I'll email then to you.

EDIT:
Here's where they come out:

Running across behind the dozer blade along the top of the horizontal stabilizer:

And attaching to the piston:

When I photograph something, I don't fool around!
