hello chaps,
this is my first post,
does anyone know if anyone makes any british infantry from the 1960's era ?
I am building a diorama from doctor who, and would like to base these on troops that were used in the series fighting the daleks,
any replies or pointers, or any kind of advice would be great,
cheers,
steve.

Only styrene figures from that era I'm aware of are the stretcher bearers included in Tamiya's Land Rover Ambulance (and sold separately). The kit was a 109" Series 2 Land Rover chassis, and the figures were appropriate for the late 60's/early 70's. There were also a pair of so-so tank crewman figures included in Tamiya's Chieftain kit. You might look into the various 1/32nd scale figure sets released by Airfix at that time, but these sets were made in a soft plastic that was difficult to clean up and difficult to paint (it was an oily plastic that tended to repel paint over time, though some had success painting it after coating it with thinned PVA white glue).

Along with those mentioned you could have a look at Firing Line figures from D J Parkins. Best of luck
