Looking great James!
Spot on! The quality of that figure in terms of detail is actually a lot better than I thought it would be.

Wow that is absolutely excellent mate!
Very good micro painting, keep it up!
One question though...is it really your 2nd figure or your 2nd figure WIP???
Cheers
Phil

Nice progress, although if it were me I'd be inclined to remove that plastic kit gun strap and replace it with come photo etch of thick tin foil. At the moment the strap is looking a bit bulky and thick as is.

Incredible good work James. At first I didn't think it was in 1:35 scale because of all the detail. Like Jon wrote, the leatherstrap for the machinegun is a little too large compared to the rest of the figure. Good work and keep us updated.

Johan the detail is actually very good for a Tamiya figure isn't it? I was suprised!

Hi there!
Amazing job for a 2nd figure! Excellent paint, mate!
Seems that you have a real skill for figure painting! Keep those update pics coming.
By the way, seems that Tamiya is improving the detail level on their figures, isn't it?
Thanks for sharing.

Whoa! Looks great! Wish my second (or third, or fourth...) figure had looked that good! Looking forward to the face!

Another pair of 1/16 scale figures scaled down to 1/35. These are pretty nice figures in the bigger scale, so they´ll be even better in this scale.
This is the same in the bigger scale, and not only is too large, it sits very awkwardly as well. Definatly change it. Great painting ... may be your second figure, but it looks to me you have been painting something else previously?
