Info on U-Models Tupolev propeller boat

Hi gentīs,

I came across a limeted edition of a Tupoley propeller boat of french manufacturer U-Models. (distribution by Blast-models.com e.g.)
I was not able to google this boat but hope that someone out there might have more information on the use and duties of this one.

Any help is appreciated.

This one looks a lot like an armed variant of the NC-5 hydroplane :
