Hi Folks:
I think I saw a discussion of this on ML. Here is a photo of the armor plate of the Mine Protection Kit now being used on some Strykers as seen in A-stan.
Also, the concealment kit is now being standardized instead of being a locally made set-up as in the past.
I saw that AFV Club will be selling a Stryker "parts" kit which includes the updated DVE which is provided in their newer kits but of course not on the older ICV and others. It also has the different antennas and such which again are nice to have for other variants such as the ICV...

Now that I'm home I'll have to plug my Strykrer CD again . Over 200 hi-res images added to the old CD, (totalling well over 400 now) which include every conceivable view of the mine protection plate, armored driver's station, and much more. Still the best reference out there for this family of vehicles.

Thanks for that, Jason. I should be adding to it again in a few months. Now if I only had time to actually build one, along with the excellent Pro Art Models upgrades.

Hey Rob.
Do you think I can get an updated copy of your CD? As you know I've bought pretty much all you have, but I still feel like I'm "missing out".

Patrick,
Serendipity strikes once again! There's a CD with the new material on it's way to you today.
At the risk of sounding repetitive, I'm FINALLY caught up with everything.

Yes indeed. I can now continue with the "18 Bravo" chopper. Know where I can get a couple of used M84 Flash Bangs? We stopped using them. Real grenades seemed more effective...

Unfortunately the do not have the words "STUN GRENADE" stamped into them. Besides, I'm rather annoyed at the prospect of paying for a replica of something I was tossing around on a regular basis last year. They will make cool hand grips though.

Life is tough... Ya should have made a mold of the M84 SHGs. To paraphrase Bill Murray in Stripes "Modelers in New York would pay top dollar for that s___."

Awesome Robert. Thanks again. Next time though, don't use such big words like "serendipity"; it only confuses me...

Wow, Col. Klink makes a special guest star appearance.... It's nice to know you're still out there sniping at us "cool kids" with the awesome club shirts.
BTW, will you be at the 2010 AMPS International? If so, you bringing "Sparky"?

Keenaaannnn,
Yup, Sparky as well as a couple more Sooner AMPSers should be in attendance.
Sniping, who me?? I rather shoot you close up as there is less of a chance that I will miss a target like you. Just messing with you since Chuck is indisposed.

Cool beans. Of course, keep open your 'busy' schedule for the "Chicago Shindig"... Sparky and the other Sooners are invited as well.

I guess that I will answer to either Col Klink or Shrek... as long as you answer to Ken Dorfmann AKA Flounder.
TSJ,
You will have enough on your hands as you manage the GO Fan Club... This AMPS should be fun. Sorry to hijack the post with this silliness.
