I've got to get my funds together before i can do my zim. now all i need (since i've never made a tiger before) is the color of interior and whatnot. i've looked on the net but haven't found any good links. i want to wetaher it but i don't know what color the base coat should be for chipped paint. i also have a lot of trouble doing post-shading techniques. it could possibly be my air brush i have a passche i don't know the model number. but if i could get some help again i'd really appreciate it.

Thanks

If you've got a Paasche VL-1, I may be able to help you with airbrush difficulties. That's what I use, and have been able to get fairly subtle results. By my standards, anyway.

According to Squadrons Panzer Colors the interior color should be a Buff / Off-white color...the interior of the hatches was usually painted exterior color, but occasionally painted the interior color. Hope this helps.

Hi. This may not be authentic as far as interior colors go, but on a Tiger I've been fooling with for over a year now, I just left the inside the color of my primer, which is a very light grey color that I used on my models anyway. I think once you add some interior parts and do a little weathering in there, it won't make a whole lot of difference. At least to me.

Now if you want authentic,I'll agree with the other poster here. Either an off-white or Buff.

Good luck.

Take care, sgirty
