After reading this I checked out the IWM Duxford’s website and as yet no mention of the Military Vehicle Day 2010. I know that this has been a constant query from Paul and the Cambs lads. I have just dropped a line to Duxford.

So watch this space, Folks. We will keep you posted. In the meantime get those MAFVA resubs in ready for Tankette Vol 45.

As Gary states above, we are still waiting for a decision from IWM Duxford/DAS on the date. As soon as anything is heard I will be notifying participants and posting details here and on the website.

They are leaving it late.

Hi Gary and all MAFVA members , The Imperial War Museum Duxford , have certainly left it far too late . Normally there are three events on over that weekend . MAFVA , Book Fair and MV rally.
They all need advance publicity in the relevent press.
I takes on average 3 months to have your press release published .
With the New Year on us and if they announce it today , it would be April at the earlest before anyone would know that there is a show on .
They have fallen short in supporting what is crowd puller for them .
Time for those in charge to get their finger out of a dark hole and do something.

Paul has just informed me that the date for this year’s Military Vehicle Day is to be Sunday, 6th June 2010. So please pass on the ‘heads up’ to all. It is just getting earlier and earlier.
