Hi Folks, Just read the posting on the PMMS site on Trumpeter's new K 5 E German railway gun kit due to be coming out real soon. With almost 1100 parts to it, I feel like the proverbial moth being drawn to the flame. I swore after building the Dragon's Karl that this would be the last of the big guns, as I have no d------ place to put them. Ha, ha! I can ALWAYS make a place.
Any comments on this kit out there? How is the quality of this company's kits as compared to Dragon's, Academy's or Tamiya's strike those of you have have put together any of their model kits?
Take care, and thanks, sgirty

Man my money is on DML!!!! the onething that sticks out in my preference is the 6 figs that come with the DML K5!!!! A big bonus for a lot of us. The PE looks just the same, but I also go with DML's reputation for quality. Sorry guys, still trying to build Trumpeter's A-10!!!!!!! DML is for me!!!! STUG

Hi, Just so nobody would think I'm totally hooked on BIG, I saw the most fantastic Panther D coupla, with a complete interior to it, from an outfit called Tiger Model Designs that just blew me away on the PMMS site as well. I think it was something like $11 or $12.
Anybody happen to know off-hand who would handle this company's products here in the States?
Thanks and take care, sgirty

The "best" place to get the Tiger Models stuff... is straight from their company website at
TigerModels
I have that little cupola upgrade... and it's just simply amazing.

I am going with it. I have been very pleased with their latest releases.

so DML will give you straight track and 6 figgies...Trumpeter gives you a more realistic set of firing tracks to REALY take up a lot of room...for more money? Hmmmmm....
And until all is seen in person and compared , the jury is still out on which company will have the best Leopold. I know who the "house favorite" is, but that is by far no garuntee...look at how people pissed and moaned about the Karl Morser....sheesh.
