Hello!

I'm starting my first diorama and was curious if there were any recommended websites that have a good selection of 1/35 Vietnam era models (figures, boats, gear, and ground vehicles)? I've been searching, but haven't found anything that seems like an all inclusive site to order from. Thanks!

Verlinden has a lot of diorama items like a Buddha statue, a ruined building and various figures. I've heard that their vehicle stuff is hit and miss as far as accuracy though. It would probably worth it to check their catalog.
Academy's M113 has a Vietnamese female figure, by the way.

I don't know of any one site or manufacturer that specializes in Vietnam Items. Pretty much every company has a few items from the Vietnam era. The best bet is to look around and see what you can find by searching for "1/35 Vietnam" or something like that. There are bunches of sets out there, you just have to do some looking.

Are you looking for anything specific? If so, let us know and we can probably name a few kits that would fit the bill.

This site seems to have a list of who makes what, but it's not up to date (doesn't seem to have the Bravo6 stuff, the most recent Verlinden items, or the Brown Water Enterprises river craft)
Hope this helps

Thanks for the info guys. I figured as much, having to order from different websites. Right now I'm really looking for 1/35 US soldiers and VC. I don't think I'm ready to tackle vehicles in a diorama just yet. Thanks again!

Well in that case I'd recommend Bravo 6, the figures are outstanding. If you don't want to stretch to the cost of resin just yet, Dragon do several good sets of Marines, airborne, and both VC and NVA...
