I am not really sure where to post this.
I am building an M1A1 Abrams. I am in the process of constucting the turret. I thought I was being gentle but I managed to break one of the side long pieces that make up stowage on the left side of the tank. I have alway been an overachiever hence, I managed to break it into THREE distinct pieces. The broken middle piece unfortunately does not attach to anything else on the tank. I am not sure what to do for repair. The piece which is a bar is very thin.
Thoughts?

try gluing it with some kind of welding glue (this is the term i hop). I use revell glue (the kind that comes with a metal needle) and I've used it with success in repairing parts. mind you use small amount of glue and hold it for a while.

You could also replace the whole rod with a piece of plastic rod or a length of brass rod.
Good luck.

Thanks for the help. I will try the welding glue first and if that does not work I will fabricate a new piece.
