Training area, maybe somewhere in germany...
The M1132 has arrived at the training station. The officer gives the last orders to the vehicle commander, the mine plow is already downed, in a few seconds the hatches will be closed and the vehicle start the mine clearing...
This is what I thought for the little diorama. My english is not the best, maybe there are some mistakes...
The basic kit is the M1126 from AFV-Club, the conversion kit is BLAST. Figures from MIG Productions and HELO Miniatures. Stowage gear comes from Hobby Fan, BLAST and my spare box.
Hope you enjoy the dio and have some fun while watching the pictures...
Thank you for watching, any comments are welcome

Very nice, I like the entire composition.
Nice to see the weathering match the groundwork.

Very nice model and all diorama. Superb finish.

I have many photos but no with this Blast system .

Thomas,
It doesn't matter if your words are right or not, this diorama speaks for itself. A truly outstanding job.

The model and dio look great. Good job on weathering and groundwork. A couple small issue you may want to fix though. The standing figure is wearing a Marine 8-point cap. The problem is that the USMC doesn't use the Stryker, only the US Army. You may want to change out the hat or head on the figure to be a US Army one. Also, the uniforms may be a little out of date as well. Since Apr '08, the US Army has only worn the ACU uniform. It was worn by most way before that as well (started being issued in fall '05), esp in Stryker BDEs since they received new uniforms first. I don't know if the M1134 ESV was around when we were still wearing woodland BDUs. The woodland camo would be OK for the standing figure since he is wearing a JSLIST chemical suit, but his hat would still be ACU. The TC is wearing ACUs though, due to teh pockets on the upper sleeves. Great job overall. A couple of tweaks and it could be even better.

Thomas a very nice little diorama. I think you have captured the scene really well. Your English is fine a lot better than my German although I spent three years trying to learn it . Could you possibly tell me how you created the dust effect on your Stryker! Another fantastic modern build from yourself.

One of the best builds I've seen next to Joe. One question. Where did you get the plow? Did you scratch build it or bought it?

Thanks to all of you for your constructive comments.
@Gino: I know the figures are a little wrong, the standing figures is a US Marine officer from MIG. He should get a helmet, to look more as an army soldier, I think. I used the woodland camouflage for the figures because it is easier to paint then the ACU...
@Jaymes: The dust on the Stryker was made by airbrush with mostly thinned color and some pigments
@Charles: Gino is right. The ESV is bought, it is a complete conversion kit from BLAST

Hi all,
the figures of the dio are not too unusual, accoring to the WWP Stryker books, the crews were also issued with Woodland BDU`s and Interceptor Body Armor and also with DCU Interceptor Body Armor. The wildest I also saw recently at an FTX of 2nd SCR, mixing ACU uniform with fleece caps, fleece sweaters and combat smocks. Really gives a great potential for figure companies.

NIce build, nice weathering. I have nothing to say but good job. I was really impressed with the weathering and figures. I will have to look for those ones now. I just built up a Trumpeter Stryker 1126, and made it look like gypsies, which is how they look overseas. Now for the slat armor.
