Started my Bison Ambulance build finally. The upper hull is by A.E.F Designs and the lower hull is Italeri LAV/Mortar. Going to have to do some adding on to as the upper hull doesn't come with the jerry can holders. You will notice a little bit of build up around the brass add on. Any idea on how to minimize this without effecting the addition would be great. I also think I am going to have to use a fair bit of putty in order to fill in the cracks where things don't really come together I am hoping to find an insert because I would like to have the rear hatch open to display the interior. I believe that Real Model is producing one but just haven't gotten it on the market yet, so I figure it will be some time before I get this completed or I will just close it up. Anyway let me know what you think and any ideas on how I can make this build better are more than welcome.

Wonderful to see the Bison, one of my favorites. I'll keep an eye on this build.

Randall, nice to see someone tackling a Bison Amb. I never knew AEF did one; you are a brave man! Though it looks like they captured the angles of the Bison pretty well.
I downed tools on my Bison Amb when I saw the test shot from BVM (though nothing seems to have come of it), and when I heard rumours of an RM Bison. Plus, I would not be surprised if Trumpeter did one too!
Are you doing the up armoured one for ISAF? If so i can help you out with some templates from the Bison Pam.

Wasn't thinking about it but then it might be an idea. If you could send me those templates it would be great.

After a long absence from this build. Life does get in the way. Here are some up dated photos.
Will try and do some more work on this but am waiting for some ref material to come from BC.

I missed this one earlier I guess, I've got some reference shots too, PM me if you're interested. Looking good, lots of work getting the AEF hull detailed.

Randall,
I was in Afghanistan in 2008 as a Role 1 bison medic and was looking recently to do this exact thing to present our unit as a gift for our display case.
I have some pics from then if you would like them. I was wondering if you could help me out getting started on my own version. Any info you could get me on kits and accessories would be greatly appreciated.
The Bison looks awesome by the way.

Ryan
I was wondering if the offer is still out there for some pictures. It would be great to get some interior shots of the Bison Amb. As that is the only thing that is really holding up the completion of this build. I would like to see this one finally completed and off of the workbench and into a display case. Just incase my email doesn't come up here it is [email protected]. Hope to hear from you soon.
