Couple of pics of a small, single figure vignette, I completed recently. I went for a light snow fall as the figure is not in full winter whites. Rock is cork bark painted with acrylics and given oil washes, snow is bicarb of soda:

Nice one, John. I have this kit as well, what did you do with those three figures?

Very nice. A good stand alone peice. I do like tha painting all the way around. And your light snow fall just adds texture and blends it all together. I have 3 of this kit and am planning to pick up the new set to add to a dio thats been on the back burner half way done for god knows how long. You got me inspired to pull it out, and now lets see, what goes on the back burner this time.

Thanks for all the comments guys, much appreciated.

MSGsummit - all painting is with Tamiya acrylics and oils.

Shakermaker - the other figures will also be going into small vignettes.

Hey John I really like this piece mate. The base is exceptional, and would be a great one if it was cast in plaster; I'm sure you'd sell a few
An interesting figure too, although the washes could do with a touch more blending into the highlights, but hey that's just a personal preference...
Good stuff
