I've heard of this kit, can anybody verify? A poor man's version of the Tamiya? Piece of junk, or non-existant? Is it 35th scale? I've built a couple of the 3/4 ton truck series from them, think they sold their molds to Italeri or testors as I've seen the Ambulance and weapons carriers from both Peerless and them. If so, why wans't this dragon wagon released, or was it? Here I go again asking 20 questions

Yes I've got one that a friend of mine gave me for free a few years ago. The moulding is quite basic and it looks quite different from the Tamiya one in terms of dimensions. If you're interested in I can shoot a few pics of its bits and pieces (it was not on the sprues...)

Shep Paine features that kit in two of his books, "How to build dioramas" and "Modelling tanks and military vehicles" , both my copies published by Airlife. In the second book he does a step-by-step build up and it requires major work, almost a semi scratch-build.

That old Peerless kit has more value unbuilt and in the original box as a collectible kit. It is not of the same standard as most of the old Peerless kits that Italeri re-issued.
As Geoff says, Shep Paine rebuilt a Peerless Dragon Wagon for articles in his Diorama and tank modeling books back in the early 80s.. His conclusion was that he would have been better off scratch-building the entire thing --- it seemed that nothing was dimensionally correct.
If you want to build a Dragon Wagon, get the Tamiya kit.

Ifound one on ebay cheap. All I want is the trailer for the M123 I'm purchasing, there is a nice update kit for it. JUst don't want to spend $150+ for a trailer if I can get one for under 40 and modify it to my needs. Thanks for the info guys Oh and please no poaching, I saw it first and If you want I'll give any body who collects the box when I'm done
