A world exclusive here on Armorama! I've just returned from the Military Modelling Fair in Seoul and found the new Ontos by Academy on display. I'm no Ontos expert, but it looks pretty good and you get a PE fret with it. Don't know when it will be released, but I guess next year. I think I'll grab myself one. What do you think?

Thanks for posting the pictures. When I went to bed last night (here in Sweden) the MM Fair was just about to open. I was hoping to see some photos of the Ontos as I woke up... and here they are.
BTW: Do you know what kind of AM sets D-toys had for the T-62?
Cheers,

That is great news! From the pictures it looks really nice. Are the tracks "rubber band" or something else? Is there an interior?
Thanks for sharing. What else was announced?

I'll have to head down south of me for a better look, but I saw two things that don't look right from what I remember. The tracks look like they maybe wrong, and the breech handles don't exactly look right (seems like the one near me has two style handles). I have some photos on my old hard drive, and I'll load them this week for a better look. (should have the hard drive back home tonight)

Man, that looks pretty good. I am defintely getttin' me one of these.
I once beat the old Renwal Ontos into submission and let me tell you, that was a chore. This looks like it would be considerably more fun than the old kit. The barrels might even be easier to align!
