Did a little better this year.

Builds are as follows. Not included though is a completed Trumpeter BTR-80 and a 99% done KV-1's "Ehkanrami" which lacks a base and a few bits n pieces to call complete.

Italeri IS-2 and Calibri (Fort) GAZ-67B - models finished late last year but all done this year.

Trumpeter STRV-103B, excellent little kit!

ICM BM13-16 Katiusha, Heaven help me, this kit was a shocker and suffered a mishap on the way to a club meeting when a 4WD decided my Corolla did not exist. The base was modified considerably during repairs as I was not happy with mark 1 efforts. (The below pic is the original)

Matchbox M24 Chaffee
What a gem of a kit. Easy to put together and a great tonic after the above plastic terror.

So six done this year with 4 uncompleted kits almost ready for paint, including a delightful 1:72 Platz Predator UAV. I had hoped for 8 so that will be my goal in 2010.

Cheers

Mike

Hello Mike
Your work is neat and very precise.
I do admire modellers who work in this scale.
Great models, which can build into a fine collection.
Regards
Garth

I like the models and I like the simple bases too. I see you found a new use for coasters, on the S tank and the Katyusha, is that right? Good photos too by the way.

Not my scale but I have to say lovely work, Mike. I especially like the STRV. Thanks for sharing.

Michael,

It's not the quantity that counts it's the fun your having with the builds. You've done an outstanding job on those builds Michael and you should be very proud. You just keep getting better with each build. I hope that in the New Year coming I will hopfully build at least half as many as you did this year.

Michael,

All are nice, but my favorite is the STRV-103B!

Can't wait to see what you complete in 2010...

Erik

Her eis another image of "Stalin's Organ"

The images seem to make the finish look monotone but the finish is not when seen with a mk1 eyeball.

We are fine. The twit in the 4WD did not hit us thankfully but the casualty rate amongst mine and my wife's models were high. Lots of repairs were needed.
