If anyone’s interested looks like the traditional British DPM camouflage pattern has finally has its day. Seems they have at least tried to keep a certain British “style” to the uniform result being it looks like a bit like washed out old DPM. I can see the point though as I I’ve often thought when watching TV coverage of British troops in Helmand that the desert kit was inappropriate for the greener areas. Not sure how useful it will be for other areas though. Could see it being quite handy in winter on the Brecon beacons not sure about use in the jungle though, looks a bit too light.

Thanks John, Im useless at links! There was also a video report on the BBC news website as well. Looks like they will be producing such items as helmet cover, webbing and armour vest covers in the new camo but in good old British army style they wont be delivered for a while meaning there will be a lot mixing and matching going on for quite some time.

very much Crye Multicam colours, in a lightly different pattern, not quite MC but close.
Should work really well, MS is a fantastic cammo in anything other than jungle (where it is a bit light).
