I was reading a review on the old DML BMP-2E and the kit also contained the option to build a plain BMP-2 (non-armored). I know the Zvezda BMP-2 is a rebox of the DML, but does anyone know if the Zvezda kit offers both options?

The Zvezda kit is the same as the DML kit...basic BMP-2 with extra sprues for the BMP-2E parts.
