A nice kit, easy to assembled and with 8 figures absolutely gorgeous.I started with the build of the tank and a small diorama for him.I left the figures for the final, along with the 3 crew members.I chose an ambusch camo , specify the Kurt Sowa tank no 222 ....still in progress...

...and the litle dio...

So you have been busy again, Dani. Looks like this build is coming along quite well. Your camouflage scheme seems to have turned out very well considering the scale. The beginnings of the diorama seems to be progressing well also. I wish I could say the same for my attempt at my first diorama. Be interesting to see some progress pictures of the included figures. Did you experience any problems with building the Tiger?

Cheers,
Jan

Hi Jan!

I had some problems with tracks,if i can say that.I had to stick on wheels with super-glue, so this would be the only problem ... an insignificant thing. Unfortunately ,now i don't have time for figurines [ I promised my son a diorama of the Battle of Lake Peipus and I must paint about 70 figurines medieval in scale 1 / 72], but when I get to them, I just post the phased construction and painting their.

These are the figures:

...and in final,must look like:

I wish you all a Merry Christmas!!!!

I almost forgot, sorry ... the camo scheme which offers Dragon in the instructions[for the tank 222] is absolutely phantasmagoric.

Dani,

What a magnificant job you've done on that camo! Keep those photos coming. I'm enjoying your build. Nice job on the dio too! You take you time in posting again. I wouldn't know how long it would take me to complete 70, 72nd scale medieval figurines? But if you get the change you may want to post a photo of them when you finish so we can all see what you've done?

Hoping you make a full recovery, and best for you and your family in the coming year.

Marry Christmas,
-Eddy

Hi Edy,and thanks!!

It took me 2 days painting these figurines ... maybe 3-4 hours every day.More than 3-4 hours is boring and no longer fun, on the contrary, it is tiring for the eyes [for the 37 years of mine] ...

Maybe tomorrow I will paint these

... then I grab me by German paratroopers.

This knight

has been painted few months ago,and take almost 3 hours because of his flag.

Dani, the figures look very good. But those weapons, I guess the Fallschirmjager ran out of ammunition. But will the shields stop a .30 cal round? Seriously, the knight and especially his flag look very good. With 70 to paint I'm sure you will be cross-eyed in no time.

Cheers,
Jan

Hi Jan !

Sorry to all for pictures, but Edy was curious to see them ...Do not worry for my eyes, are accustomed to such thing ... i have painted so far over 1000 figures in 1/72[1/76] scale. The left leg is the big problem ...but anyway I d'ont need' it for kits

Cheers,
Dani

Dani your King Tiger is magnificent! The camo job is really beautiful, especially on a 72nd scale tank. The medieval figures are awesome as well! Wow, what detail in the painting. Can't wait to see this one completed!

Dani,

Masterful job on painting all of those figures and in such a short period of time. I'm totally impressed. Those figures, horses and battle gear look outstanding. It took me more than four days, working between 3 to 4 hours a night, to finish the three crew figures for my Tiger I. At my current production rate it would take me up until June of this year to complete 70 figures . . . LOL!

Your Tiger II looks excellent and ready for the diorama base you are working on. I especially like how you've painted all of the tools and cleaning rods, they look real. I'll have to leave out the wood grain part of the painting process on my next set of tools and save that for the larger scale builds.

Thanks so much for posting those medieval knights. I'm sure that your son won't be forgetting about your effort anytime soon. I remeber my father purchasing my first set of Airfix HO/OO military figures. Soon I had a small army of over 800 soldiers and four Airfix tanks. Always remember that time with my brother and father. . .

Anyhow, Happy New Year to you and your family.

Thanks Eddy and Happy New Year !!!
Unfortunately I never had time for hobbies ... New Year and guests from guests ...Just a small, small progress.Great figures but very difficult ...i lost my patience with them. For the first time I felt a little old for this scale ...
