Hello.
This is my second diorama.
The scene is ment to be from Norway Late spring or early summer -41.
The Pz 1ausf a is from Draon, the haouse is buld from scratch, using evergreen, balsa, hobbyclay etc.
It still remains some work on the house and figures, i have to make new frondoor and apply some washes.
On the pz frontligths and some more pigments are still to come,.
I hope to get some feedback on this

Nils, what a forumentry you have here.
I am blown away! Really awesome!
I like the scenery, the way you recreated hight, depth and Norwegian landscape into this dio.
The house and Panzer 1 are equally impressive.
As for the figures, why not try to make the interaction more "logical"? You could make the figure on the outside hand over something to someone IN the Panzer, while the commander is watching.
I think that this way the whole scene would become one. Now the figures look "added afterwards", if you know what I mean.

Thank's for the feedback.
I'll see what you mean, i really appreciate any ideas of adding or changing details.
My idea is that the tank crew stop outside a hose, in the middle of nowhere.
They ask for something to eat and drink, and was givene some bottles of home made vine.
The tank drivers is handing over the bottles to the commander.
The bottles are on my building table as we speek.

This rates really high in creativity. The shape, flow, elevation change and textures used are great.
Love to see the final project soon.

Really extremly well done for a second dio! No room left for any constructive critic!
I would like to have a closer view of the trees and also know how you made the roof tiles.

Nil's, this is truly an amazing dio and a pleasure to look at. I like the grey weathered look of the house and the stone foundation is great. The ground cover is some of the best I've seen in here. Hey, it's all good.
I like to know how you made those trees and the base.
The Panzer tracks could use a few pigments on the back inside, but as you say, there's more to come.
Very nice work.

I really like the groundwork and the weathering that has been done on the house as well as the panzer. Waiting to see the final touches!

That is really nice work so far. I also like the Norway 1941 setting - very unusual to see anything in Norway at all, let alone outside of snow and 1940

At the risk of sounded like a broken record I have to agree with others... the groundwork is really impressive especially for a second diorama project!
The little stream is fantastic, both the water effects and the surrounding terrain and river banks.
Bravo!

Hej Nils Olav.
Great job on the ground work. The varoius heights, the trees and the rocks have captured my impression of Norway .... have only been to Halden!
Im sure the panzer 1 and figures will be great as well. For a second do, you should be very happy with what youve done here.

Nils, My opinion; you hit it right on the button. Looks like many places you see off the beaten track. It blends all together very well. Looking forward to the finished peice. Happy holidays.

Nils, Fabulous work !!!! I think the ground work is among the best I've seen. Now this might be like putting "a moustache on the Mona Lisa" but I would put a civillian - an older woman (?) peeking out the window, keeping an eye on the situation. Just my 2 cents worth. Please show us how you did the roof tiles, they are really good ! Thanks Nils and Merry Christmas. Tom
