I will buy Trumpeter new T-62 but I don't understand this two review. Which is correct?

Correct about what?
Jeremy's review is an inbox review from as he describes himself " just a ordinary modeler who wants to see a model that will go together"
Nick Cortese is on the other hand an acknowledged expert on Soviet Armor as is Steve Zaloga who contributed to that thread which is more of a tweak list than a review

If you are going for an super accurate build then just follow the ML threads, they outline in some detail the mistakes, and corrections required.
Jeremy's review is just a sweeping look over the kit, no info really on accuracy etc. Zaloga did a good job of building the T-62 basically OOTB, but just improving a few bits. His build is on ML too.

If I look on box, I can say only one - very nice model for first look. Because I don't USSR tanks specialist I agree with Jeremy review.
But if I look on all links about accuracy, I 'm very surprise. Many modelers say "perfect model" and many expert say "inaccuracy" .

I think Milo you need to decide whether you want to get bogged down in the finer accuracy points or not. Whilst I respect the amount of research carried out by some in this field and find it very interesting, its a sad fact that much of it will be lost on the finished, painted model. I have the kit and decided that when I get round to building it I will do much the same as Zaloga, build it basically OOTB and just improve or add the missing details. I commend those willing to correct things such as the dimensions etc, but some times its nice to sit back and just enjoy a kit.
Based on what ive read (all the comments/discussions and available reviews) im inclined to think Trumpeter did a fair job on this, the basics are there for a modeller who wants something that at least looks like a T-62 and has some nice details. It seems that upon further research Trumpeter have messed up some of the dimensions, whether this bothers you or not I suppose comes down to what sort of modeler you are. Im not much of a Russian builder so this isnt such an issue for me, however I highly respect those who like to correct things, if this were in my field of interest id certainly have the exacto and plasti card out.

Rob,
I think that I buy this kit because for my build is nice. I don't have time for rebuild all kit to accuracy dimension.
I have surprise that this nice model is inaccuracy (according to specialist).
I have very bad remembrance on this tank and on year 1968. For that I will build this model for memory my son and my all family.

Build the model and just focus on the paint job! For all intense and purposes it will still look like a decent enough T-62, and I commend Trumpeter for the effort. Just hope they take the comments on board and improve later kits!
