Hi all!
I'm building my first soviet tank, so I have lots of questions:
- Is the Gunze H-303 (FS 34102) color OK for the KV-2?
- What color they used for priming? Zink chromate green? Which Humbrol color would be OK?
Thank You!

I have used HU86 and HU105. Also HU116 is worth trying.

Nini, Magyar - Hello
Köszönöm a táblázatot, meggyőztél.
Festés: Gunze H303, koptatás: Humbrol 80.
Ellenvélemény?
(Ez lesz az első szovjet/orosz gépezetem + az első makett 10 év után... kicsit cidrizek )

Surviving samples of Soviet 4BO Protective Green range from FS-34052 to FS-34098, a pretty wide range (not surprising, given the chaotic war situation). Modern Russian historians have said that FS-34102 is a reasonable match to the official color cards issued to wartime manufacturers, though some prefer FS-34096. According to research published online at Missing-Lynx, the pigments usually used in 4BO actually darken with age, rather than fade, which might explain some of the discrepancies. In any case, once you start weathering, it won't matter all that much which color you select within that range.
Red lead or red oxide primer would be more likely.
