Hi at all,
Here you have a first image of one of Trumpeters new weapons set.
I think all the future weapons sets will be have the same quantity of parts.
Here you get six M-16A2 each with six separate 30 round mags and PE parts for the slings. Itīs not much but enough for a little squad. They are highly detailed for example with molded on bullets on the magazines so they look like the real ones. I have seen a picture from their new M-16A1 set. They are the same number of parts but with 20 round magazines and not the round foregrip.
PS: Here is the picture for the M-16A1 set
Greetings
Stefan

How about the M4s and other non-DML guns? M-16A1s and A2s are available from DML M-16 Weapons Sets...

I'm waiting for two sets of the M4 RIS, which should arrive any day, so I can let you know how they look when I get them.

Im pretty sure the m4 carbines will be on par with the resin ones if not better, i just hope they expand this line, like making the C-7 AR, the FAMAS, The SCAR family, ACR.

I got a M16A2 set at the LHS. Also, I think someone on Ebay is selling a bunch of these sets. All I have seen are guns from the M16/M4/AR15 family. Nothing that hints at a SAW but I guess it could be around in the future.

Hi everybody and happy new year ,
i see the Thread is fillling :-),
@ Peter ,
there is one Para Saw aviable from Trumpeter in their Modern U.S.Army Armor Crewman & Infantry / 1:35 set - TRU0424. Is realy good with fine Details and much better than any other SAW i have seen yet. I donīt know the Resin one from Pro Art Models in their Special Forces Humvee but the SAW from Trumpeter are great. You have the opinion for short or long buttstock. Also in this set you get a second SAW and with a litte conversion you can have two Para SAW`s. Also you get M-4s in this set and they are great The best modern weapons in 1:35 i have ever seen. You get some nice optical sights for youre personell choise. The Dragon ones are good but not for modern use. They are more for the 90īs (first Iraq war, Somalia etc.). The differents between the new Trumpeter M-16, M4 etc. to the Dragon once is that they are much more detailed (you can see the bullet in the magazine and you get also PE- Stripes for slings) and the price. You pay actuell 8,50 for the new re-released Dragon set and 2,95 for one Trumpeter set. In the Trumpeter set are six weapons (M-16A1+A2 set) each with six spare magazines (20 and 30 round). Sure you get much more weapons in the Dragon set ( i think itīs about 50, each twice) but there are only two or three you can use for more modern theaters without any modern tactical sights or equipment. The other ones are mainly Vietnam, Panama, Iraq war one, Somalia, etc. So if you take the Trumpeter ones you can use all of them for a fair price and for what you need them (QCB, Sniper, Seals etc.). Hope it helps an like Calvin said letīs cross fingers they will bring out more modern weapons from different countries. The only FAMAS i know are from blast Models. They are Resin and you pay 11,95 for six weapons with modern sights and one of them with grenade luncher under it. Looking very cool.
Greetings
Stefan
