One of the Kits i am building next has a worped chassis so i wuold like some advise on some of the ways you could put it back into shape.

Hi Mark,
warm (hot) water can do the trick, but for a chassis you need a big pot of water.
Another way is to force the plastic into shape by glueing pieces of plastic card or sticks. Metal helps even better. Don't use wood since this works and can create different problems (I found out after glueing some of it beneath the deck of an aircract carrier. It warped the deck even more after 2 days of moist weather).
Minor warping usually disappears after gluing the back chassis plate and the upper hull and clamping them whilst drying
