I am interested in this pic.
I am wondering how:
1. The Fence was made. Photo etch?
2. Cornsilk grass?
3. And the schrubs in the background, what are those made of?
Thanks!
~Chip

The fence looks to be made from lots of very thin plastic rod. It has too much roundness to be PE. 2 long lengths laid flat and the small ones laid with equal gaps. The points are squeezed flat and pointed first (?) using pressure or heat or both.
The grass could be some brand of static grass.
The trees look to be using some tree frame, from a root system or small tree with lots of branches .... possibly even a wire frame and then using white glue and some dried herbs.
These are all guesses, as I dont know what they are actually made off. I have seen the dio before, recently on missing links. Maybe if you checked back a bit, you could find the builder and contact him for the proper methods. It would also be possible to build them from the methods above!!

The guy that did the dio has a site at http://www.dioramafile.com/gallery.htm . You'll need to translate the description from Korean with something like Babel Fish http://babel.altavista.com/tr

2. Cornsilk grass?
You got it. He actually used silk from the indian corn. Not that I know the difference between that an regular yellow corn. :-)

Are you sure thats Korean? I translated the whole page, and it was just a jumble of english words that made no sense. I think it might be in code, to prevent me from seeing it. He is working against me!

well... if you have "internet explorer" i can try to explain it, because it's in dutch. If you go to your screen options, you'll see something with code, there you can change the language. I hope you can find it so you can read it...

I'ld like more info on the bushes, they are too green to be dried up herbs. Do you think he oversprayd them with some gloss?
