I'd like to build a diorama set during the Algerian War in the late 1950s and am trying to find some French Foreign Legion figures. I know that Academy used to produce some FFL figures, but they're out of stock everywhere I look. Are they produced by any other manufacturer? Or are there any other figures I could modify to represent Legionnaires?
Thanks!

Well , it's hard to help you.
You have tree usefull headsets in the Hornet range (heads with 50's/60's helmets and heads with french berets and heads with the white hat).
For the figures you'll have to convert existing US WW2 infantrymen (not very difficult you just have to find photos references).
The weapons:
AA52, MAT49 in the Dragon range and from memory some units still used US rifles.
Hopes this help you a little
