Interesting.
I have been wondering what Academy has up thier sleeves for 2010. Little if any info has come out of teh Korean MMZ show a couple of weeks ago.
If true that may be why I have not seen anything on the possibility of Trumpy doing one.
Lets hope it wasn't photoshopped, there are some aircraft guys that do that with Tamiya hoaxes all the time.
Happy New Year
Matt

It is just a picture of a T-90 with the Academy logo on the corner. It doesn't mean anything at this point and I would not read too much into it; people do this kind of Photoshop/concept artwork all the time.

True enough. However, I confess that after waiting for so long for Zvezda's vaporware kit and having seen how nice the K1A1 kit was, I do hope it's more than just some playing with photoshop.

Ohh, that would be interesting for the "fans".
Also Zvezda had announced their kit for 2009, but as I seen, there is not kit available at the moment.
greetings and happy new year.

edit:
Academy had a T-72 kit in 1/48 scale, so perhaps they would "rework" that.

iiccckkkk - Let's hope they don't base it on the 1/48 scale TOY motorized kit. I bought it when it came out and its really horrid. I would love to see Academy tackle a t-90 (or a T-72 for that matter!)

Hi Raul,
I will go for Nurenberg with my work for 3 days so IŽll keep an eye out for any Academy signs for a T-90 or any other new russian armor for that sake
Best regards
Morten

I also wait for the surprising news from some companies.
During the days an overview will be published on a german webpage... and IŽm sure, also on some more pages.
greetings... and happy new year

Yes, ZvezdaŽs T-90 was planned to a release for these days.
Also I read... 3-4. quarter of this year.
But, better than nothing!
Some other companies made announcements a very long time ago, but never realized their announcements into kits.
ICM: 2S19 MSTA-S (152mm sp-gun)
Skif: 2S6M Tunguska /SA-19 Grison - air-defence vehicle (guns+missiles)
Military Wheels - SA-11 Gadfly / Buk-M - Air-defence missile-launcher
and some more...
But:
Some problems could be the lack of useful images and drawings!
So we have to accept that point.
greetings...
