Hi Gang,i`m looking into getting a P+D set to start superdetailing some of my stuff but what i was wondering is how you would actually use them.
By use,i mean how you create the rivetts themselves, and what in addition to the set do you need ?.

Punch and die sets are different from rivet making tools. Go to top of page and type in rivets at google search. Scroll down a little bit and you will see a review of the Nutter by the Small Shop. It explains how to use the tool. They make very high quality tools.

If you get either a round or hex Punch and Die set, all you need is plastic sheet.
The set I have comes with different sizes of dies, a clear hardplastic guide and a metal underplate.
Oh, and a hammer you'd need as well...
