Hi Guys,

I'm currently building the master for a full interior for the AFV Club Churchill and I thought it might make a good blog.

I've already completed the turret parts. This took some work as parts of the AFV Club turret interior are, frankly, lamentable!

Here are some of the parts I've made:

And here are some of the first casts from the moulds:

The turret contains 40 seperate parts

With that done I moved onto the hull. Here are some of the hull Masters:

More soon!

Thanks Guys, good to see you here too

This kit will hopefully be ready to ship by the beginning of February (fingers crossed!) I'm also working on a full interior for the new Tamiya Matilda for release in early March.

Here's a sneaky peak of the Number 11 radio set

Chris, count me in as a customer, Ill definetly be buying your matilda interior set, any chance you'll make one for 76mm m4a3 shermans?

Thanks Calvin

I'm afraid its unlikely I'll be covering any shermans in the near future. Shermans seem to be well covered by other firms, along with T34s and especially Panzers, so I'm hoping to develop a niche in British/ Commonwealth. Never say never though

I've had a few more pictures back from the 'master caster' casting my parts into resin, and I thought they might be of interest:

Thanks for looking

Chris

Hi Chris, gee thats a bummer, since no one makes a interior breech for a m4a3 76mm. I cant wait to see what your going to make in the future though! A34 comet interior? Cromwell interior? Gee i cant wait!

Thanks Calvin,

The Cromwell is a possibility in the future

I've finished the masters for the left Pannier today

Here are the individual parts for rear of the door (I'm afraid the others have already been posted to the resin casting service):

Here are the parts dry fitted (the gaps will disappear when its properly glued together)

And some besa boxes I'm working on for this kit, and possibly a stand alone set at some point:

The firewall is done:

I've made the air filters with a locating peg to ensure a good joint. Here it is dry-fitted:

And two parts of the stowage around the basket floor, besa stowage. Apologies for the blurry pic

There are now only maybe 8 or 9 parts to do, so the next update will be the last until the casts come back

OK, here are the final Masters!

So with that I'm calling this 'Done!' I've get the PE to sort out, and this lot to get fully cast, so it will be a little while, but next time you see this will hopefully be as a 'news' item under new releases

Thanks Al

Two months to make the master, design the etch etc, but then it is a big tank inside! The matilda interior should be a bit quicker

Hopefully I should be able to post pics of the hull soon too. In the meantime, here's a scan of the prototype of the etch please note: this has been corrected to get rid of 'slip' on a couple of parts, and to add further parts since
