Hello friends, I'm looking for a scale plan or something like that for the octagonal turret of M32B2 ARV
Currently I build a M32B2 at Dragon M4A2 base with Italeri parts. I want to build a vehicle at PTO with octagonal turret. In the Italeri M32 kit is the later turret (curved steel plate). So I have to scratch build the octagonal turret myself.
Thanks for your help"

Bernd,

I replied to your post over at Missing-lynx but I forgot to comment on your work. Yours is much further along than mine and it looks very good. Is there a reason you used the Italeri bogies and wheels as opposed to the Dragon parts?

Send me an email and I will send you a copy of my drawing.

Aloha

Gary

This is the M32B2 "Almighty" in which my father was the assistant driver on Guam and Iwo Jima. The M32B2 belonged to A Company, 3rd Tank Battalion and landed on Iwo Jima from LST-477. Two days after landing the tank was hit by a mortar round and killed the driver Cpl. Clinebell and wounded my father and one other crewman. The Almighty was repaired and returned to action two days later. The M32B2 was unique in that they had mounted the 81mm mortar on the front. They did it more out of the desire of wanting to shoot back then anything else. My father is still alive and has a picture of the Almighty towing a Jap tank on Guam.
