Hi guys!

I’m currently working on a Swedish Strv 122.

I would like to have commander standing in the turret! - My questions to you are: Is there a company that produce a modern Swedish TC? – If not, is there a company that produce a TC that could be used instead?

I'm not sure of the type of equipment that a Swedish TC would use, so it would be hard for me to guess at which TC figure would be best. I am guessing that a West German or British TC may work for you. Tamiya has figure of those guys that come with their Challenger and Leopard that someone might have kicking around. There are also modern US TCs by DML, but I don't think that would be as good.

Academy makes an Israeli and Korean tanker set, if you look at the helmets on those guys they may work. Again, I don't know if Swedes wear helmets or berets. Good luck.

Clausen, have you looked here? Should have more info on what you're looking for.Plastic Warfare
The author states using several figures from "Hornet, Warrior, Tamiya and Royal Models with assistance of the trusty Milliput and Caviar tube."

There is no Swedish figures on the market unfortunately.

You will have to modify an existing figure if you want one.
On my site I have images of the current tankers uniform and crewmans helmet.
I don't have any images of the m/94 ballistic west worn by AFV crews.

If there´s anything else you wanna know about Swedish AFVs or uniform go right ahead and ask me.
I got quite a big collection of images and manuals for Swedish AFVs, including Strv 122.
I also have the tankers uniform and crewmans helmet (both current and old version) in my collection if you need detail images.

The Swede,

Thanks for offering!!! I'm very interested in anything about the Strv 122 - So if you got some photos you want to share with me, I would be very interested! I found some photos of a Swedish tank uniform in the gallery under figures references on this web-site… I presume it’s the same uniform that the crew on Strv 122’s use?

You can send what you want to share with me to this e-mail address: [email protected]

Again – Thanks for the help and the generous offering!

Hmm, that would be me you saw in the M/90P uniform on the Gallery page. :-)

Have you browsed the Strv 122 images on my web site?
