Hi Robert
Wonderful work once again!
Did you carve the tackle box base or is it a modified piece from somewhere else?
On your umbrella... looking really good!
I'm no expert but if you go to the Heineken site you'll see that marketing only really started in the 40's & then the brand wasn't associated with the colours we know today... The first reference I can find for their logo comes from the 50's & that is only the red star on the white background
Then again, I'm no bear expert
Sterkte, Don

Hey Robert,
Looking good. In some bars you can see those old fashioned adverts from different beer brands and if I'm not mistaken (could very well be) Heineken originally had red and white as its brand colours...
You could try sending an email to the beermuseum or take a loot atthis . It is not dated but you can see the logo and colour scheme.
Good luck!

Ola People
Thanks for the replies. They certainly are appreciated.
@ KoSprueOne and Kaysersose
Thanks for the compliments.
@ Donovan
Regarding the base of the tacklebox it is not carved. My mother makes a lot of clothes and this is some sort of strip that is used to reinforce seams and such. Initially I thought the holes would be too big but when glued it was not that bad anymore and actually looks pretty cool.
@ Donovan and Thommie
You both are actually right about the Heineken colors back in the old days... And the stupid thing is I actually knew that. So much for being a designer. I have visited the Heinekn Museum in Amsterdam some time ago and thy are carrying the red star for a long time. And I have found evidence that the style of umbrella was already in use for some time. And that they were available in pretty much every color you liked. Now I haveto make up a new design with the old Heineken Style.
There will be a little change in this thread. Since it is starting to become more and more of a scene I decide to split it up and deal in this thread with the vehicle only... everything else from figures to groundwork will be covered in a separate thread over in Diorama's
which you can find here http://armorama.kitmaker.net/forums/152452&page=1
Thanks all for the feedback.
