Its soft edge. I spent 4 years working in a warrior battalion in germany. All the repainting is done buy the crews, usually the driver, and occasionally if your lucky the commander. Unless its drastically required they are only done once a year before the P R E inspection. hope this helps.

An additional question about Warrior camo:

Is this a standard pattern, or is it just whatever the painter likes? Do you happen to know where I might find the pattern, if it is standard?

British armour has a standard as such which is as you see above but each has its own variants or "artistic Flow" shall we say. Generally the pattern is just thick black stripes (not staraight but sort of flowing) im sure in the pamphlets there are exact measurements but its not something we were really concerned with, it was more a case of it looking right.
