This is my first attempt at making a dio. It's still in the finishing stages and still have a ways to go.
Just thought I'd share my first dio's progress.

For a first dio Im impressed. Good action and the trenches are excellent. The tree is very realistic and the hedges are fine, but maybe need a little variation in colour (the ones with no flowers) throughout them, like some drybrushing of different greens. Same with the open grass areas and the mud in the trenches. Also some of the hedges seem to be on flat bases, like wargaming, which is quite noticeable. The bottom row of the sandbags are sitting proud on top of the ground, instead of being sunk in a bit. Easy to hide with some extra earth on each side. The wounded soldier and medic are in a very unbelievable place. They´d be better in the trench or have some better cover .... like a little wallsteads or bolders?
Sorry to be so heavy on your first post, but hopefully these little things might be helpful and are easy to fix, and would lift the model up to a higher level! All the best.

Thanks for the critique and like I said I still had a ways to go, just showing what I had go done so far. The bush by the wounded soldier was just put on haven't finished it yet. The other bushes bases will be concealed with more turf and I'm going to put in some corn silk and smaller bushes for the open area.

I agree with plastic battle, the wounded soldier and 1st aider do need some cover judging from your dio they would be completely exposed. A little point to note for the future - try and take the seams of the figures. You can do this with a sharpe blade and just shave them of or you can file them down.
But still an excellent effort - well done.

I would like to see it, but I get the forbidden message also. Any chance we could get the pictures posted here?

Here maybe this will work. Same Dio and still in the final stages. Still have some things I want to do yet but here it is so far.
