Hi everyone,
I have a DML 1/35 BTR-80 (kit 3511) that I'm looking for a PE set for.
EDUARD has a set for the BTR-80 35522 but it's for the ZVEZDA kit.
I have heard that the ZVEZDA kit was the old DML tooling.
Does this mean that the EDUARD PE will also work on the DML kit?
Confused

I have both the BTR 70 and 80 PE sets for the Zvesda kit. I have heard it said many times that the Zvesda BTR's are made from the same molds as the Dragon models. Perhaps if you don't get an answer here you could ask the same question over here.

Good luck on your build, there is a lot to do.

Thanks Bill
I think i'll get the BTR-80 PE for the ZVEZDA and try it on the DML.
I'll let all of you know how it turns out.

Jim
If it is anything like the BTR 70 set there isn't much that is so specific that it couldn't be used. What would have been real nice is the inclusion of lots and lots of hinges that otherwise have to be scratched. Have you seen the Eduard site views of the set, that may help you decide?
Good Luck the PE adds a lot to the kits.

Looking at the www.eduard.cz PE set for BTR 80 is discontinued. Jim, did you have much luck finding the PE set?
