Academy makes an M9 Dozer Blade kit # 1374. The M8 and M9 are allmost the same.

The Academy kit is intended for mounting on the M-60 hull, quite a bit different than the M-48. Many people have asked for a 'dozer kit for the M-48, but no luck so far as I know. AlAcademy makes an M9 Dozer Blade kit # 1374. The M8 and M9 are allmost the same.

If anyone ever does one, I'm in line. I have the M9 blade, and it looks like a bear to convert, plus I have yet to come up with pics of the actual blade-to-hull mounts. This is waiting for it:

Hi Guys
you can modify M9 blade to be used on the M48 it's the hull mounts that require the attention as well as the hydrolic lines to opporate the blade. I did it years ago using the old Verlinden M9 kit on an M48A2C it should be easier using the parts from Academy since they are Styrene.
Here is a link back my M48A2C was still an on going project:

Good luck

Where did you come up with usable plans/drawings/pics of the actual hull mounts?
