hi everyone

my first post here eventhough i have been following the site for some time. Just got back into modelling after travelling for 20 month and as you can imagine its hard to drag kits, tools and paint in a backpack. Armorama kept my interest in modeling. As soon a i got back i put these two together

M4 HST is the Hobby Boss kit and Jeep is Tamiya. Figures are Miniart and old tamiya for the german.

well i am working on long tom to be pulled by HST which will have a figure (one of the miniart mp guys from jeep crew) standing on the top of it. I will put these on a wooden base but no ground work.
I would like to make a base for a jeep but havent done any dios yet so i am just putting it of. When i finish the long tom i wont have any unbuild kits at home so i might as well have a go at the base.

its just ground color chalks applyed with an old brush. i fixed the first heavier layer with some thinner (used old dirty one too why to waste it right) and then brushed some more chalk on the top of that.
