Hi there,

Does anyone know if the ASU-57 Soviet was ever made as a kit in 1:72, 1:76 and 1:87 scale? Where would I find it? Thanks for the help!

I'm not sure, the AER kit in 1/35 was about the size of a standard 1/72 scale tank model. In that scale it may be real tiny. There maybe small wargaming items of it.

Edit: found a paper model version of it http://ecardmodels.com/shop/product_info.php?manufacturers_id=19&products_id=96

So the AER was the correct 1:35 scale...but it is just a small tank in 1:1? Any advice on which wargaming companies might have it?

Cheers,
Rich

I just saw some company named Archer Models that apparently made the ASU-57 in 1:76 scale...anyone know about this company or where I can find them?

Archer Models made wargame quality models, in resin I think, but ceased trading in 1999. Some of their products are (or will be) available from S&S Models, Matador Models, Bandera Miniatures, Britannia Miniatures and Crusader Models (so they said).

You could try Googling any of those - when I googled Archer Models, their news came up right at the top.

Here is another lead; Archer Models is long gone, over a dozen years ago, but you can try these links.

AIRMODEL MADE A RESIN KIT OF THIS YEARS AGO. YOU MAY HAVE TO GO TO A PLACE THAT SELLS OLD KITS.
