I was just wondering if the "old" radio rack that can be found in some of the Verlinden PE sets for the Humvee is usable with the new SINCGARS radio or would I be compelled to scratchbuild a new one

the reference pics I have are not very clear about that...
Talking about SINCGARS radio sets, I have read some posts about MR Models set but I can't remember where ! (too many forums, only one brain

) Is it the only way to go ?
TIA

In 1/35 scale, they would be passable. In 1:1 scale they differ. I would go for it and not worry.

Frenchy,
Rob's right on the money . I just picked up a set of the MR Models radios, and they are awsome. There is only 3 cables visible, but i might be mistaken. Rob can veryify this for us. The radio rack incorpate all the connections. There is a short attenna on the left and a cble on the right. The cable for the handset is actually attached to the mount on the right and not directly on the radio when it is in the mount.
